The Hypothermic Half Marathon was another hit this year. With races in 19 Canadian cities and 2 American locations, a diverse array of weather was seen, from mild temperatures above 0°C, to an abominable -37°C with wind chill in Edmonton. One of the most celebrated parts of this event was after the finish line. A delicious  brunch was ready for all race participants, which tasted extremely good after the huge challenge that was the Hypo Half. There were also 5K and 10K races in select locations, and a first-ever full marathon event in Calgary this year.
